Why do we need to go to a class?
We want you to have a sound understanding of God’s design for marriage and a realistic picture of what marriage will be like. The class is open to couples who are engaged or those who are seriously thinking about becoming engaged. The cost of the class is $25 per couple.
Upcoming Classes
The next class at the Anderson campus will be Friday, October 1 from 6:00 - 9:00pm and Saturday, October 2 from 8:30am - 12:30pm. Couples will need to bring dinner on Friday evening. We will provide your materials and breakfast on Saturday morning. We will not have childcare for this event.
What should I expect?
You should expect to be challenged, strengthened, educated and better prepared for your future marriage. You will be equipped with new marital skills including identified problem areas and how to make improvements; identified strong points in your relationship and how to work together to bring out the best in one another; and most importantly, a more realistic expectation of what marriage will be like!
What do we talk about?
During the sessions, we will discuss many subjects, including God’s plan and purposes for marriage, marital roles and responsibilities, communication skills, how to develop realistic expectations for marriage, and conflict resolution. We will also help you recognize your relational strengths and how they can benefit your marriage, and we’ll teach you how you can work to improve areas where you may need growth.
Other Details
It is our policy not to hold any weddings at NewSpring Church facilities. Senior Pastor Perry Noble does not perform wedding ceremonies.
