Sermon and music clips for you to share 02.15.09

Perry Noble’s first message at NewSpring since returning from Kenya packed a punch.

—We’ve got teaching clips about marriage to new Christians, marriage as a covenant and fighting for your marriage.

—We’ve also got a snippet about Perry’s feelings about Kenya and world missions.

—We’ve got some humor regarding how men and women are like computers

—And we’ve got a clip of a great cover of the Clint Black Soon “Said I do”

To see all the new video clips, please visit: http://www.facebook.com/pages/NewSpring-Church/35591842909#/video/?id=35591842909

We want to make it easy for you to share NewSpring with your friends in social networks to blog or help start conversations about Jesus. Remember, if you post the Facebook video to your profile, it will show up in your news feeds where hundreds and thousands of people will see it!

All the clips are available at YouTube too. http://www.youtube.com/user/NewSpringChurch.

Remember to invite your friends to one of our campuses or online at http://www.newspring.cc/webcampus. It works!

Become a fan of NewSpring Church on Facebook

If you’re on Facebook, you can now become a fan of NewSpring Church.

All you have to do is click here.

We’ll update our Facebook page every week with video of the full worship service. We’ll also add exclusive video clips, promo videos, music and blog posts. We hope you’ll find lots to post to your Facebook profile and share with friends.

Facebook also makes it easier for NewSpringers to get to know each other. And we’d love for you to add fan video, fan photos or leave a post about how NewSpring has changed your life.

Who knows? Maybe a conversation about a video clip will lead you to invite your friends to experience NewSpring in Anderson, Greenville or Florence. Or maybe you’ll share a link to our new Web Campus, where anyone, no matter where they live in the world, can take part in a live, interactive worship experience online.

That’s what we’re praying for.

Initial Site Launch and Words of Caution

Hello, internet. It’s nice to see you.

NewSpring’s website is, from here on out, a work in progress. It’s a never ending experiment in how we can best utilize and leverage the web, social media, video and the written word to communicate the gospel with everyone we can. We have a lot planned for subsequent additions to the site, and there is certainly so much that we can’t even imagine about how we’ll be able to use the web in the future of NewSpring Church. In 2009, we’ll launch a new campus, right here on the site. This is such an exciting new season of the life of our church, as the web will be integral in how we grow and make Jesus famous together.

For now, we’ll get some sleep, and then get the site fully-functional in all web browsers (we’re looking at you, Internet Explorer 6 and 7), make a massive to-do list of copy and styling changes, migrate a couple of years worth of audio and video over to the new site/servers and begin using a new video player for message content (we think you’ll really like the experience of using it.) Thanks for stopping by, make yourself at home and thanks in advance for your patience as we get settled in our new casa.

We’re a Little Slow on the Whole “Blogging Thing”

Hello, friends. We’re sorry it took us so long to get with the program and give you an easy way to connect with NewSpring Church online. We want to get you information quickly, communicate events and various goings-on, engage with you via video and social media and let’s be honest, our previous site didn’t exactly make that easy. Lucky for all of us, we’re a culture that thrives on change and fixing broken things.

Welcome to our new website, and to the NewSpring Church blog. This is your one-stop shop for announcements, event info, insights from Senior Pastor Perry Noble and other staff members, real stories from people experiencing life change at NewSpring and information about our multi-location strategy and where God is taking us.

NewSpring Church is 8 years old, we’re launching our second campus tomorrow morning in Greenville (with #3 on the way this Fall in Florence!), a complete rebrand, a new message series and it feels like we’re just getting started. Welcome to the next new season of life at NewSpring. We pray you’ll connect with us to grow more and more passionate to make Jesus famous, one life at a time.
